BRIDGEPORT - A Bridgeport courthouse was evacuated for a short time this morning due to a bomb threat.

It happened at the courthouse on Golden Hill Street.

State police say the building was evacuated for a few hours this morning while K-9 teams searched the perimeter.

Witnesses say police came into the building and told everyone to leave.

The courthouse reopened just before noon.

State police say they did not find any explosives and are still searching for the person who made the threat.
