Bridgeport is getting more funding from the state to move forward with plans to build a second train station in the city.

Gov. Dannel Malloy announced Wednesday that the state plans to fund the design of Bridgeport's future Barnum station. Malloy called it "unacceptable" that Connecticut's largest city has only one train station.
