Bridgeport gun buyback collects weapons

BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police say dozens of guns are off the streets thanks to a gun buyback over the weekend.

Bridgeport officials say they collected more than 160 guns.

They say gun buybacks make everyone safer.

Police say they plan to host more buybacks next month.
