BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport kicked off a pajama project today in an effort to collect books and pajamas for children in need.

Students from the Madison School turned out at City Hall to make donations on behalf of their school.

The principal says the donations will help young kids, many of whom are in shelters and don't have anyone to tuck them in at night or read them stories.
