BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport leaders addressed the public Tuesday after a violent weekend in the city.

Three unrelated shootings over the weekend left two people dead and four wounded. Police say they are doing all they can to solve the three cases, but no arrests have been made yet.

The public is also being urged to help the police with reducing gun violence.

Bridgeport police say the number of homicides in Bridgeport has gone down, but police say more can be done.
