BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police say a man is facing charges for hitting his 10-month-old son.

Officers say the infant's mother told police Kevin Graciano, 20, picked his son up by his hair and punched him in the face Wednesday because the baby was crying while Graciano was trying to sleep.

Police say the father admitted to pulling the baby by his hair, but says he hit his son while trying to push the baby's mother.
