DARIEN - Police say a license plate reader led them to two big arrests earlier this week in connection to a burglary ring in the area.

Police arrested Nelson Rivera and Livelle Sampson earlier this week in connection with the burglaries that happened late on June 17 into the next morning.

According to police, the men ransacked and stole items from unlocked cars and even broke into two homes.

Police are still looking for three other men connected to the burglary ring.

Residents say they feel safer now that arrests have been made.
