BRIDGEPORT - A Bridgeport man says his journey to compete in a "Tough Mudder" competition has not only tested his physical strength, but his mental fortitude as well.

Joe Nuara, 24, traveled to Englishtown, N.J. Nov. 20 to compete in his second competition.

Nuara says participating in the 12-mile obstacle course that is covered in mud is a nice release from his everyday job as an accountant.

He says he plans to compete in another competition in the spring.
