BRIDGEPORT - A Bridgeport man is facing more than a dozen charges following a standoff with police Wednesday night.
Police say 40-year-old Devin Robinson barricaded himself inside his girlfriend's apartment on Edna Avenue before they forced their way inside the apartment to make an arrest. When authorities got to the house, they say Robinson climbed out of a third-story window, cursed at them and acted as if he had a gun.
After crisis negotiators failed to engage Robinson, police say he began throwing items out of the window. Members of the department's emergency services unit then broke in to the apartment to detain him.
