Bridgeport man killed after 'road rage' incident

BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police say one man is dead following a road rage incident yesterday.

Police say Jeffrey Parlemon, 21, was involved in a traffic dispute on Huntington Turnpike and followed the other driver to Priscilla Street, where they had a heated argument.

Later, Parlemon spotted the other man's car parked in front of a house and confronted the homeowner with a BB gun, according to police.

Police say that man, who was not the driver of the car and not involved in the incident, shot Parlemon in the hip. He later died.

Detectives say they have referred the case to the Fairfield State's Attorney?s Office to determine if charges will be filed.
