Bridgeport man killed in Milford electrocution

MILFORD - A Bridgeport man is dead and another person is injured after a ladder came into contact with a power line last night in Milford.

Authorities say Victor Larranage-Marquez was killed by the electricity and his nephew, Gerrordo Marquez-Hernandez, 45, is being treated for non-life threatening burns.

Witnesses say the two men were power washing a home on Point Beach Drive last night when one of them tried to move a ladder and it toppled over, hitting the power lines.

The homeowner says he wasn?t there at the time and would not reveal how he hired the workers or who they worked for.
