BRIDGEPORT - Friends and family of a Bridgeport man missing for nearly two weeks continue to hold out hope for the man's safe return.

Employees at Dwight Eisenhower Senior Citizen Center in Bridgeport say they saw 69-year-old Fred Richardson on May 6.

They say the man was a regular visitor. They add they were a little surprised to hear that residents reported him missing a few days later.

Richardson's son says his father was last seen in Stamford on May 8. He says a missing persons report has been filed in Bridgeport.

Richardson's photo has been shared several times on social media with people asking for his safe return.

Employees at the senior center say they did not know Richardson very well.
