Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch gives update on storm cleanup

Mayor Finch says plows have been out clearing streets before the next round of snow. (2/13/14)

BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch says the city is working hard to keep conditions clear for residents.

After the first round of snow, Finch says 50 plows were out throughout the city, cleaning mostly side streets. Finch thanked residents for complying with the city's rules about not parking on main roads so plows and emergency vehicles could get through.

Finch is asking residents to keep their cars out of the way as much as possible so plows can get through.
