BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch is working to give the public more access to early education.
He was at the Connecticut State Capitol in Hartford Wednesday, urging the House of Representatives to pass the Early Childhood Education Bill. The bill was passed by the Senate on Friday.
Supporters say the measure would expand access to pre-K for more than 4,000 children statewide over the next four years.
