BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch has asked for the public's help dealing with the city's snow emergency.

Finch urged residents to get their vehicles off of the city's emergency snow routes, and to observe alternate side of the street parking.

He said it's an effort that will continue through Thursday until city plows have reached every street in Bridgeport, clearing away snow just in time for the next storm.
