BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport Emergency Management officials joined with multiple city departments today to discuss preparations for the predicted storm this weekend.

There is a possibility of significant snowfall this weekend although totals could vary widely depending on the storm's track.

Officials say they are monitoring and tracking a variety of weather models, as well as ensuring they are ready to handle the snow.

They say they will work to provide emergency shelters for the homeless and advise residents to shovel around fire hydrants.
