Bridgeport parking rules in effect for storm

BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport officials are preparing for the snowstorm and say they need the public's help to make sure their plan works.

Mayor Bill Finch and his team laid out the ground rules for the storm this afternoon. They say odd side of the street parking is in effect for tonight, while in the morning residents must move their vehicle to the even side of the street.

If you can't find a spot, numerous parking lots have been made available around the city.

There is a list of snow emergency streets on the city's website, but they'll be off limits for parking tonight.
