BRIDGEPORT - A fight at Bassick High School Monday left two students suspended and resurfaced in video form on Facebook, prompting officials to ask students to stop recording fights and circulating the videos.

Each fight video, authorities say, encourages another. And as News 12 Connecticut has reported, there was an earlier fight in the same high school two weeks ago.

Tony Barr, who says he is a mentor seeking to prevent students from making the same mistakes he once made, wants Facebook to ban fight videos.

"I honestly believe in my heart that it would change a lot of the violent situations in the school system across the country, not just in Bridgeport," he says.
