Bridgeport police are asking for help identifying a man caught stealing a wallet in a convenience store.Police say the owner of Bridgeport Variety on North

BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police are asking for help identifying a man caught stealing a wallet in a convenience store.

Police say the owner of Bridgeport Variety on North Avenue put his wallet on a counter yesterday afternoon and then stepped away.

They say that's when a man walked in and swiped the wallet which had about $500 in it.

If you recognize the man, Bridgeport police want to hear from you at 203-581-5201.
