BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police are searching for the man who held up a Subway Sandwich shop.

Police say the suspect was wearing a mask when he walked into the restaurant on Broadbridge Road last night.

They say he pulled a gun on the clerk, jumped over the counter and made off with cash.

Police say they are looking into the possibility that he is the same man who tried to rob a liquor store on Main Avenue earlier that night.
