BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police are asking for the public's help identifying a bank robber.

Authorities say the man held up the Chase Bank on State Street yesterday afternoon.

They say the man walked into the bank and demanded money, then fled the scene.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Bridgeport police at 203-581-5201.
