Bridgeport police release video in string of deliveryman robberies

BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police have released surveillance footage in hopes of identifying suspects in a string of deliveryman robberies.

Police say between three and six suspects would call up deliverymen and have them deliver to a location near Jettie Tisdale School where they would then rob the deliverymen with a knife and gun. They say that the suspects even briefly kidnapped one deliveryman.

There have been at least five separate robberies in the past two months, according to investigators.

Anyone with information is asked to call Bridgeport police at 203-581-5100.
