Bridgeport police seize drug supplies from grocery store

BRIDGEPORT - Police say Bridgeport?s Narcotics Unit discovered hundreds of boxes filled with drug-dealing supplies ranging from cutting agents to packaging materials inside a grocery store today.

Investigators say La Primera on Park Avenue was undergoing a routine inspection when the supplies were found. Police reported that the materials were in plain sight in the store's backroom.

Police say this find was just as important as discovering actual drugs, and that the supplies are worth over $100,000.

According to Bridgeport police, no arrests have been made.
