BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police say they have taken DNA samples from the family of a woman who has been missing for 20 years in hopes of solving her case.

Omayra Velasquez, who now would be 41 years old, went missing in 1993. She was last seen near a Bridgeport nightclub.

Velasquez's family says they have not seen or heard from her since the day of her disappearance.

Investigators say the family's DNA samples will go into a national database to be tested for a match.
