BRIDGEPORT - Polls in today's primary elections have closed.

One of the mostly hotly contested races is in Bridgeport, where Mayor Bill Finch is facing stiff competition from several opponents, including former mayor and convicted felon Joe Ganim and businesswoman Mary Jane Foster.

The three candidates say they will continue to campaign vigorously until Election Day in November no matter what the results are tonight.

All candidates say they are eager to hear what Bridgeport voters have to say today about who they think should be in the top spot.
