BRIDGEPORT - Several Bridgeport residents are complaining about an odor going through their neighborhood.

They say the smell of raw sewage has filled the air for the past several weeks.

The residents believe it is coming from a nearby brook that leads to the Pequonnock River, but city officials aren't sure what's causing it.

The Bridgeport Health Department is working with the city's Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) about the smell. Officials cleaned catch basins yesterday as they looked for lines possibly connected to the wrong drains.
