BRIDGEPORT - Some people in Bridgeport may notice some discoloration in their tap water starting today.

Aquarion says its launching a new water main cleaning project in the Park City over the next 10 weeks.

Officials say the water may appear discolored because of minerals that are stirred up during the cleaning process.

They suggest you avoid cooking, drinking or washing clothes until it runs clear again.

The project is expected to be complete by mid-July.
