BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport residents are shaken up following last week's incident in which a police officer shot a man.

Officers shot 35-year-old Michael Stinson after they say he threatened them with a knife. Police say Stinson is in stable condition and is being held at Bridgeport Hospital.

One neighbor tells News 12 that she was inside her apartment with her son during the shooting. She says she grabbed her son to shield him from any possible stray bullets.
