BRIDGEPORT - Some Bridgeport residents grew tired of waiting for the city to plow their road so they took matters into their own hands.

A private contractor with a bobcat plow worked through the mounds of snow.

About 20 neighbors from a nearby condo community say they got together to pay for the private snow removal because they could no longer wait for the city.

News 12 Connecticut has spoken with Bridgeport's communications director who says plow trucks of one kind or another has hit every street in the city.
