BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport school officials have announced that students will be getting a half-day of school tomorrow due to the expected record-breaking heat.

School officials say they're cutting the day short because only about one-third of Bridgeport school buildings have air conditioning.

Both teachers and students at Hall School on Clermont Avenue, which does not have air conditioning, say it is a relief they won't have to put in a full day tomorrow.
