Bridgeport schools grieving after fatal accident

BRIDGEPORT - The Bridgeport school community is reeling after the son of a guidance counselor was killed in an accident along I-95 in Milford. The victim, 26-year-old Chauncey Shoulders, was the son of Cheryl Shoulders, who works at Jettie S. Tisdale Elementary School. Employees at the school say he spent countless hours volunteering there and became a familiar face to both students and faculty. Authorities say Shoulders was killed when his car stopped suddenly on I-95 and was struck by the vehicle behind him. Police say the cause of the crash is still under investigation. School officials tell News 12 Connecticut the family is still making funeral arrangements. West Haven man killed in I-95 crash
