Bridgeport shooting witness refuses to testify

BRIDGEPORT - A hearing has been delayed for three young men accused of going on a shooting spree in a Bridgeport park last July, murdering a teen and wounding three others because a witness refuses to testify.

Dasheen Brown, 17, Terrance Clark, 17, and Joseph Joyner, 20, have been charged in the shooting that killed Blair Belcher, 17.

The mother of the 19-year-old witness, Irquan Smith, says her son couldn't go to court because of safety reasons, saying her son was a victim and not a witness.

The judge in the case has postponed the trial until sometime next week.
