BRIDGEPORT - Some students in Bridgeport got a unique lesson in nutrition today.

Former UConn star and Brooklyn Nets Analyst Donny Marshall teamed up with nutritionist "Dr. Deb" Kennedy to teach kids at Bryant Elementary School about healthy eating.

The program is called "Dunk the Junk" because Marshall slam dunks junk food while the kids watch.

Marshall says it's important students learn about healthy eating at a young age.

As part of the program Dr. Deb donated more than 280 lunch boxes to students and gave them a lesson on making healthy choices.
