WATERBURY - Four years after the murder of Bridgeport teen Jessica Keyworth, investigators are still searching for her killer.

Keyworth?s body was found strangled at the bottom of a basement stairwell on June 1, 2004. The house, at 23-25 Pearl St., was abandoned.

Police say they still don?t have any suspects and only have one lead. However, that lead has not yielded any significant results in their investigation.

"How could you go on for four years like this? ? I've been in such pain,? says Keyworth?s grandmother, Lisa, who remains hopeful that police will find her granddaughter?s killer.

Police say they continue to dig for clues in the case.

"We're definitely not going to give up. We never give up on any murder investigation, any serious crime investigation,? says Waterbury Police Lt. Chris Corbett. ?We continue to work on it. There is a detective assigned to this case.?

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (203) 755-1234.
