Bridgeport to hold hearing on proposed high-rise

BRIDGEPORT - A hearing is scheduled tonight on a controversial proposal to allow high-rise buildings to be built in Bridgeport's north end.

Several Bridgeport residents held a march Saturday to protest the move.

State Rep. Jack Hennessy says a zoning change would be bad for the neighborhood.

The hearing will be held at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall Annex.
