BRIDGEPORT - A veteran from Bridgeport hosted a celebration yesterday at her new home built by Habitat for Heroes.

Staff Sgt. Juliet Taylor's house on Norman Street was built over the past year as part of Habitat for Heroes, a project with Habitat for Humanity. Taylor thanked the community and says she's overwhelmed by all the support for local veterans.

"You will not leave us, you will not allow us to just sit there and wallow with our inner demons, but you will be there as a strength, you will be there as a pillar for us to stand up on," says Taylor.
