BRIDGEPORT - A Bridgeport woman and her father are both facing up to 20 years in prison after being charged with unemployment fraud.

Prosecutors say Julie Hymans, 39, and her father Monroe Hymans, 86, of S.C., are each facing six counts of mail fraud in connection with a scheme that lasted 15 years.

They say the pair collected more than $300,000 as a result of their fraud.

Monroe Hymans is a former member of the Westport RTM.
