BRIDGEPORT - Students from Bunnell High School in Bridgeport headed to California Wednesday to perform in the Hollywood Christmas parade.

The parade will be taped Sunday and the high school marching band will perform. The group has spent months preparing for the event.

Joining the students were instructors, chaperones and Bridgeport Police Chief Joseph Gaudett, who has led the school's percussionists for 17 years.

The parade will air locally Dec. 10 and Dec. 24.
