Police in Bridgeport say a burglar stole thousands of dollars in merchandise from a cellphone store on Main Street.

The wireless store owner says the culprit broke through the front door and climbed over the security fence with only a few inches of clearance. He says they made off with at least 20 phones.

Shop owners in the area say they want nightly police patrols and extra streetlights...
