STAMFORD - Police are investigating after they say someone struck a Stamford restaurant early this morning.

According to authorities, the suspects broke in through the back door of Garden Catering at 877 High Ridge Road and targeted the ATM inside.

Co-owner Kevin Kegan says he has already had the machine removed so it will no longer be a target to thieves.

Officers say the burglars did get away with some money. They are now checking surveillance video.
