Business dispute may have been behind murder-suicide

WESTPORT - A business dispute may have been behind an apparent murder-suicide.

Police say Daniel Shwisha killed his brother Gordon Shwisha outside the family business in New Haven.

They say Daniel Shwisha then drove to their parent's Westport home where he shot himself.

Gordon Shwisha was the majority owner of Electrix, a lighting manufacturer. Sources say he began keeping a disciplinary file on his older brother Daniel, until several months ago, when Daniel Shwisha was fired.

Funeral plans are still being made but relatives say the services for the two brothers will be separate.
