Business owners prepare for last unofficial day of summer (9/5/16)

NORWALK - Businesses along the shore in southwestern Connecticut are hoping for a better day Monday, the last unofficial weekend of the summer.

Business owners say while many beachgoers came out Sunday, the stormy forecast hurt their business this weekend.

The U.S. Coast Guard has warned that swimming and boating in Long Island Sound will be dangerous Monday as a result of Tropical Storm Hermine.
