Cabbie released from hospital one week after alleged attack

GREENWICH - A Greenwich cab driver who police say was attacked in Mount Vernon, N.Y. last week was released from the hospital today.

Police say the victim picked up three men who wanted a ride to Mount Vernon. 

The victim says when they got to the destination however, the men attacked him, one holding him down, another stabbing him and the third looking for money. He says after the men found the money, they took off and left him for dead.

Investigators say a passerby called 911 and the victim was rushed to the hospital to undergo emergency surgery.

Police have yet to make an arrest in the case.
