BRIDGEPORT - Officials say four young adults are lucky to be alive after the car they were in went over an embankment in Bridgeport off of Route 8 near exit 3 last night.

Driver Ira Nieves, 19, says he was picking up three women when they were hit by a truck and went down the 80-foot embankment.
