STRATFORD - A crash at a Stratford auto repair business is renewing neighborhood concerns about the safety of Stratford Avenue.

A car careened into several parked cars at Euro Motors Monday on a stretch of road known locally as "dead man's curve."

Although there hasn't been a fatal accident there since 1997, residents say accidents are a common occurrence in the area.

The Department of Transportation says that engineering of the road is just fine and that they recently put up new signs that urge drivers to slow down.
