STRATFORD - Stratford police are investigating after a car drove into a house on North Ridgefield Avenue in Bridgeport this morning.

Authorities say the chase started in Stratford when they approached a car that had been reported stolen last night. They say the owners of the vehicle saw the car located near Bruce and Barnum in Stratford today and called the police.

When police arrived on scene, they say the man behind the wheel of the stolen vehicle led them on a chase which ended in Bridgeport after the car hit a house on North Ridgefield Avenue.

Officers say Sims, the man behind the wheel, was not violent but initially refused to get out of the car. They say he may have been on drugs.
