BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport fire officials say at least three families were forced out of their homes this morning after a car fire that spread.
About 30 firefighters responded to the scene on Norman Street just after 1 a.m.
Officials say there were two cars inside the garage at Norman and Cottage streets, and one of them burst into flames. They say the blaze then spread to homes on both sides of the car parked in a driveway.
Officials say no one was hurt.
The cause is still under investigation
