BRIDGEPORT - Residents at the Glenwood on the Park apartment complex in Bridgeport were forced to evacuate after a carbon monoxide scare yesterday.

Firefighters tell us a power washing company was running two gas-powered washers in the parking garage but did not use any fans to vent the exhaust.

Carbon monoxide counts rose to dangerous levels inside 16 of the apartments.

No cases of carbon monoxide poisoning were reported.
