Connecticut's first lady is apologizing for comments she made about the media during a panel discussion at the Democratic National Convention.Cathy Malloy said the public

CHARLOTTE - Connecticut's first lady is apologizing for comments she made about the media during a panel discussion at the Democratic National Convention.

Cathy Malloy said the public does not properly appreciate public officials and she would never run for office because she does not want to be bothered by reporters.

Malloy sent out an email this morning saying that she feels the media has been fair to her family.
