EASTON - Police are currently looking for the vandals who toppled 55 headstones at the Union Cemetery in Easton over the weekend, causing $50,000 worth of damage.

Police say the incident occurred Friday night into early Saturday morning.

It is expected to take at least two years of volunteer work to repair the damaged headstones, if the cemetery is able to raise the funds.

Easton residents are outraged over the incident and demanding the vandals be brought to justice.
